The worst year

Last year was the worst year I have had homeschooling.  The reasons why?  I am not quite sure.  Not enough follow through,  lack of schedule, lack of planning, tried and failed at the year around schedule, it was just a bad year.

Don't get me wrong we all learned.  Subjects were completed.  It was just like pulling teeth and I detest the dentist.  We were all thankful to end last year.  And really glad to get into summer.  As a matter of fact although the planning bug has gotten me, I am hesitant about this year.

However I have spent a lot of time in prayer and given my worries to my Lord.  I trust that homeschooling my children is something He has called me to do.  Am I perfect at it.....Um NO.  But I will continue to lean on Him.  This year as I have begun planning out our days, which will begin on August 24th, I have His peace and guidance.  Thankful for my Lord and my ever supportive husband,  I am trusting we will make it through another year.

So I will continue to look ahead to the days to come with joy and anticipation!

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV
