We have been attending a new to us church the last several months.  They had the most beautiful Christmas Concert.  There was a full orchestra and the singing was wonderful. This is the only picture I snapped, but it just put me in the mood for the holidays!!

Our Missions Conference 2016

This week at our church we have been having a wonderful missions conference.   To begin the week we had a ladies conference a group of ladies volunteered to decorate different tables to represent missionaries that our church already supports.  My daughters and I chose Thailand.  Please enjoy pictures of our table and some pictures from the area.

Ugly Sweater Teen Party

Our teen group at church had an ugly sweater party.  Above in the top picture is Allison and her friend Emily.  Allison's idea was to make her sweater look like a tree and wear an angel tree topper as the hat.  The second picture is Emily's brother Cameron.  His sweater was too cute to be ugly!  They had a great time and a lot of laughs and memories made!  

Decorating for the Christmas Parade

I love this time of the year.  Our church family begins preparing for the Cartersville Christmas Parade.  Our theme is "Jesus is the sweetest name".  We are doing a candy theme.  I will post pictures of the parade so time after December 4.  That day will be the parade!!

Football Sunday

Our Pastor is the chaplain at our local high school this year.  So our church has the honor of hosting a special football Sunday where the players, coaches, and parents of the players were honored.

Teens and Concert

I was blessed to get to take some of our teens up to a Gospel concert in Ringgold GA.  We had a great time and really enjoyed listening to Appointed Quartet sing!  It was a really fun night full of worship & laughs!  Love these kiddos!

We taught the teen group this year which I enjoyed so much.  I really enjoy our teen group they are a very active group with such a love for our Lord.  I am thankful to get to work with them!

Our Generation Missions Summit 2014

We were blest to get to travel up to Pigeon Forge Tennessee for the 2014 Mission Conference.  We had 3 intense days of learning more about missions and getting the gospel out to all the world.  Looking forward to being used for The Lord in 2014 and excited to see what He will do this year!!

The hubby & I

I know this blurry, but this is hubby and I last night at the Christmas parade.  I am blessed to have the opportunity to arrange and help decorate the float for our church.  It was so much fun and we are so thankful for the church The Lord has lead us to.  Our church family is great and we feel loved and cared for!

Hello Again

It has been a long time since I have posted anything.

We have been really busy with school - that is now finished!! 

I have a 9th grader and a 2nd grader and I am so proud of both of them!

So we wrapped up the 2012-2013 school year at the end of May and have been enjoying summer

since.  We have been to White Water 3 times already and swimming at least a dozen times!  Summer

has begun and all too soon it will come to an end.  I am already planning and praying over my

choices for next school year.  This has been a busy season for my husband as well, he has had

the opportunity to preach 4 times in the last 10 days or so.  He also has another invitation from a

church, but we will have to wait until after VBS before he can set that up. 

That is what has been up in our lives lately!  Hopefully when I get a new laptop later this summer I

will be back to posting more regularly!

Our daughter Allison is singing the solo.  We are so proud of her for volunteering to sing.  This song the girls learned at Bible Camp and are performing for our church family.

Weekend Ramblings

This weekend was a blurr.  We have finished up our soul winning classes at church on how to share Jesus Christ with someone.  I defiantly felt the Lord speaking to my heart from the beginning of the class.  If I would get out of the way God could use me to reach someone, but it takes a lot to relinquish control.

After class on Saturday we rested at home.  My husband and some of the other men of the church spent the night in pray on Friday, so after class Saturday he was spent.  We stayed as quiet as we could so he could rest.

Sunday was spent at church.  After service I had discipleship class and then I joined my family at home for rest until night service.  After service at night we had wonderful fellowship with some families in the church at our local favorite mexican restaurant.

All in all we had a wonderful weekend.  My hope is that everyone that might read this had a blessed weekend with your family!

Couples Banquet 2012

I just love my church!

Last weekend we had out 3rd annual couples banquet at Stonewall Manor here in Cartersville. GA. The house was amazing and we had such a wonderful time. Below is my husband and I. Next is a picture of our Sunday School Class. My husband has been leading our class for about a year now and we really are enjoying serving the Lord in this capacity and in any other way that HE may choose to call us!
