Slow down and take a little time to visit your old stomping grounds.
We went home to Alabama this past weekend for a birthday party. When we were on our way my husband decided to take the long way around to home and go over Cheaha mountain, This is a place close to our heart I have often called it my backyard growing up. My parents often DRAGGED me there growing up and at some point I fell in love with this area!! So enjoy the lookout photo's!

Not Back to School Blog Hop - Student Pictures
That's right we have a silly 9th grader and a silly 2nd grader this year. The first shot we have the official yearly back to school photo. The second photo we have the yearly silly back to school photo. The first day back went smooth and we are all excited for this school year!
I feel so blessed to be able to teach my children at home. It is a true honor!
Blessings,
Lisa

Kindergarten Photo Shoot
We officially finished Kindergarten 6/15/2012.
We now have a 1st grader. Jackson is moving up to 1st grade in the fall and looking forward to it. Jackson is the first of my children that I will be homeschooling K-12 Lord willing. This year was a lot of fun with a few struggles, but I am so proud of the young man he is becoming! This is our much too late photo shoot. I have pictures of both of our girls in cap & gowns for Kindergarten and so Jackson needed one too!

Working with Dad
Jonathan received a frantic call from me one afternoon at work about 4:50PM please come home we have a busted pipe. Sure enough when I went to rinse some dished there was almost no water pressure. I sent Allison out to see if Jackson and his friends had left the water on at the spicket ... she comes running in and says the side yard is flooded but the spickets are off.
Allison was shone not long ago by her Daddy how to turn the water off to the house from the road, so I sent her to take care of that and made the call. Jonathan dropped everything and rushed home to repair a pipe.
Luckily for us it was quick repair and we were back in business, but I just had to grab my camera and get this shot of Daddy and Son checking things out! I love to see my children learn from their Daddy.

King, Queens, and the Maid
Allison so sweetly made Jack and the girls next door crowns. Jack was the king, and Lana & Mallory are the queens. As I was taking the picture Allison self proclaimed that she was the maid ;) so funny....we all laughed. Summer brings such fun!!!Thursday, April 21, 2011
